چکیده
Experiments of unstable vapor liquid two phase flow phenomena during boiling with HFE-7100 in parallel rectangular multi-microchannels aspect ratios 0.2364 and 0.3182 were conducted under a wide range test conditions: the mass flux from 380 to 3500 kg/m2s, heat 0 1080 kW/m2 compressive volumes 0, 5, 10 20 ml, respectively. First, characteristics transfer two-phase pressure drop are compared each other. It shows that maximum dissipated microchannels ratio is 34.4% larger than while higher up 80% less lower conditions. Then, experimental results processes minimum decreases decreasing at same volumes. Finally, physical mechanisms have been analyzed according simplified mathematical model based on momentum conservation. concluded flat regime hydrodynamic curves may decrease phenomena.

Experimental Investigation of Viscous Two-Phase Flow in Microchannels
Multi-port microchannel tubes are increasingly popular for use in a variety of heat transfer applications, primarily for automotive condensers and radiators, but also in a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning applications. These channels offer a greater surface area to volume ratio, providing for enhanced heat transfer over a conventional tube in many applications. Previous research ha...
متن کاملNucleation characteristics and stability considerations during flow boiling in microchannels
Flow boiling in microchannels and minichannels has received considerable attention in the past decade. The interest stems from the possibility of achieving the extremely high heat fluxes, over 1 kW/cm, needed for future generation electronics cooling application. The attention has been focused on obtaining experimental heat transfer and pressure drop data, but the fundamental aspects of nucleat...
متن کاملHeat Transfer Mechanisms During Flow Boiling in Microchannels
The forces due to surface tension and momentum change during evaporation, in conjunction with the forces due to viscous shear and inertia, govern the two-phase flow patterns and the heat transfer characteristics during flow boiling in microchannels. These forces are analyzed in this paper, and two new nondimensional groups, K1 and K2 , relevant to flow boiling phenomenon are derived. These grou...
